The American Soybean Association (ASA) and DuPont have opened applications for the 2016 ASA DuPont Young Leader Program.
The ASA DuPont Young Leader Program is for producers looking to gain knowledge that have an interest in serving in a leadership position. The program will focus on leadership and communications, agricultural information and the development of a strong peer network.
This two-part program takes place Dec. 1-4 at the DuPont Pioneer headquarters in Johnston, Iowa, and March 1-4, 2016, occurring with the Commodity Classic Convention and Trade Show in New Orleans.
Last year’s participants from Minnesota include Aaron Yaggie of Thief River Falls, Minn., and Ryan and Wendy Wondercheck of Lamberton, Minn.
Actual age is not a factor for the program, and couples and individuals are encouraged to apply. Applications are now being taken online at https://soygrowers.com/learn/young-leader-program/.
