Farm Journal Foundation has selected Minnesota Soybean Growers Association Director Karolyn Zurn to be the Farmer Leader for Minnesota representing the program Farmers Feeding the World.
Zurn is current Chair of Northern Crops Institute and President of Minnesota Agri-Women. Zurn holds many other agriculture positions including, Minnesota Ag in the Classroom Board, National Chair American Agri-Women Government Affairs & Vital Issues and volunteers for the North Dakota CommonGround. She also farms with her husband and sons, raising soybean, corn and sugar beets.
Farmers Feeding the World is a Farm Journal Foundation platform to rally the agricultural community around the fight against world hunger. Orientation for Zurn will be held in Washington D.C. in June with plans to get the project underway in Minnesota by fall.
