On Saturday, Aug. 13, the Le Sueur and Blue Earth County Farm Bureau organizations, along with the Scott/Le Sueur and Blue Earth County Corn and Soybean Growers and other commodity groups and agribusinesses helped bring the annual Breakfast on the Farm to life at the Guentzel farm near Kasota, Minn.

Families and attendees from the community had an opportunity to tour the farm, play games, talk with farmers and were also treated to a free breakfast of pancakes, eggs, sausage, juice and milk. The event drew more than 1,600 attendees.

Each year, on-farm events like this provide an opportunity for families to visit a local farm in their community and learn more about farming.
