Fargo event brings farmers and non-ag community together
The Clay and Wilkin County Soybean and Corn Growers Association & their checkoffs will host a free screening of FARMLAND, a film by Academy Award®-winning director James Moll at the Fargo Theatre, beginning at 7 p.m., on Dec. 2. The documentary takes the viewer inside the world of farming for a firsthand glimpse into the lives of six young farmers and ranchers.
Many Americans have never stepped foot on a farm or ranch, or even talked to the people who grow and raise the food we eat, yet are increasingly passionate about understanding where their food comes from.
The county Association will also be hosting a panel discussion to bring different views of farming together and allow attendees to ask questions. The panel will be moderated by Rep. Joshua Boschee, D-North Dakota.
