The Agricultural Utilization Research Institute (AURI) is opening the new decade by inviting attendees of the MN AG EXPO to explore its Ag Innovation Hub on Jan. 22-23. The Hub will showcase a number of recent innovations and opportunities for Minnesota’s agricultural industry. Attendees to the MN AG EXPO can visit AURI’s Ag Innovation Hub to learn more about AURI’s value-added efforts as well as a variety of innovators, including:
• The University of Minnesota’s Plant Protein Innovation Center brings together interdisciplinary researchers and industry members to produce and study nutritious and functional plant protein ingredients for food applications.
• Calyxt makes the food you love healthier, sustainable and completely traceable from concept to fork. Its team is comprised of some of the best and brightest minds in the industry, who together are working to make food healthier, not only for this generation, but for generations to come.

The Hub will be open to attendees from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22, and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday Jan. 23 at the Mankato Civic Center, Mankato, MN. Pre-registration for MN AG EXPO is encouraged for this free event, as a badge is required for entrance and meals.
