While even the best pro golfer can’t hit a golf ball from Marshall all the way to St. Paul or Washington D.C., everyone can ‘pitch in’ and get the ball rolling on advocacy efforts. Growers and industry partners can show their support for farm-friendly policies by playing a round during the second annual Beck’s Soybean Classic June 30, hosted by the Minnesota Soybean Growers Association (MSGA).

MSGA is building off last year’s inaugural successful event in Perham and linking up with Beck’s, a longtime sponsor of MSGA activities, including MN Ag Expo and Soybean Business magazine, to bring this year’s event to the Marshall Golf Club.

“Beck’s plays a vital role in supporting MSGA through innovation, performance and partnership,” Darin Johnson, MSGA president said. “Their commitment to MSGA directly benefits farmers across the state.”

The Beck’s Soybean Classic directly supports MSGA, an organization that advocates for farmer-friendly policies to improve profitability, giving farmers a voice at the state and national level. MSGA uses funds raised to fight crop inputs for Minnesota’s 26,000 soybean farmers and keep family farms thriving in the field for generations to come.

Work on behalf of Minnesota soybean farmers doesn’t stop there. Thanks to the support of members and industry partners like Beck’s, MSGA works with lawmakers and regulators in St. Paul and Washington, D.C., to prevent unnecessary restrictions and fees on the use of agriculture chemicals.
