Like a Seed, We Start Small and Grow Big
“Individual commitment to a group effort is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.”
— Vince Lombardi
The Minnesota Soybean Growers Association knows that its strength lies in its members. Membership in the MSGA means that your voice will be heard, year-round, on important issues affecting your profitability and your freedom to operate. Membership joins you with other Minnesota soybean farmers to work collectively on issues that impact your operations. In Minnesota, we’ve successfully fought for the B10 mandate, making Minnesota the first state in the nation to require a 10 percent blend of biodiesel. We’ve also helped fight the recent warehouse taxes and the labor tax on farm equipment repairs.
How do we do this? Through strong communication, marketing and education efforts with other farmers, with politicians and with non-farmers we are able to truly engage in a grassroots effort. We also lean on our 42 organized county soybean associations to help advocate for agriculture. Together, we all help make a difference.
