Mitch Zarbok is a three-year member of the Minnesota Soybean Growers Association (MSGA). He supports MSGA because it’s a sound investment in his operation and industry.
“MSGA is just a part of our whole business here with supporting us farmers and trying to make it better,” Zarbok said.
He also said the benefits that come along with an MSGA membership are an additional reason why he joined. Being a member of MSGA gives soybean farmers a voice in the state and national legislative arenas, along with offering several discounts, including a Cabela’s discount and membership in the American Soybean Association. Three-year members also receive exclusive MSGA swag.
Zarbok farms in Douglas County on his third-generation family farm, growing soybeans and corn. He still farms with his father, Larry, after assuming primary leadership of the operation. Mitch and his wife, Shannon, have three children: Austin, Marissa and Shania, who also help on the farm when not working their full-time jobs.
Zarbok serves as the Douglas County Corn & Soybean Growers Association secretary and is involved in the board’d various events. He’s also on his church board serving as an elder and is a member of his local Orange Township board as a supervisor.
