Project Grow will be hosting a webinar featuring Ed Usset, grain marketing economist for the Center for Farm Financial Management at the University of Minnesota, at 7 a.m. on Thursday, June 16.

Usset’s webinar “Building an Effective Pre-Harvest Grain Marketing Plan,” will provide his tips and perspective on preparing a pre-harvest marketing plan. Usset will talk about the benefits of having a strong grain marketing plan in place early in the season and how a solid plan can increase grower’s chances of success come harvest time.

This webinar will be recorded and made available on the Project Grow page for later viewing. This is the first webinar in a two-part series aimed at helping farmers prepare grain marketing plans. The second webinar is set for Wednesday, Aug. 17 and will be partnered with Minnesota Corn. More information about the second webinar will be provided in early August.
