The Minnesota Soybean Research & Promotion Council (MSR&PC) is pleased to announce the addition of two new directors. Joining MSR&PC are Paul Dahlseng (District 4) of Starbuck, Minn., and Joe Serbus (District 5) of Bird Island, Minn.
Re-elected to the board were Gene Stoel (District 7) of Lake Wilson, Minn., Keith Schrader (District 8) of Nerstrand, Minn., and Rob Hanks (District 9) of LeRoy, Minn.
“While transitioning away from veteran directors is never easy, we are extremely pleased to have two new faces joining us this year,” said Craig Bangasser, MSR&PC vice chair and chair of the election committee. “We’re also excited to have a trio of veterans returning to the board.”
Dahlseng and Serbus will join the board July 1. Each spring the Minnesota Department of Agriculture holds commodity council elections, with elected farmers serving three-year terms.
