Conducting experiments, collecting data and publishing findings are all part of the research process, but another component of checkoff-supported research is presenting information to the public.
This is where field days and agronomy focused events come into play.
The Minnesota Soybean Research & Promotion Council (MSR&PC) invests in research to provide further education and best practices for Minnesota soybean growers. With 35 research projects funded in fiscal year 2023, sharing and promoting results are the next steps in funding the research project itself.
Field days allow attendees to ask questions of researchers, be hands-on with the work and see the results for themselves.
