Registration open for 2018 Farm Camp Minnesota

March 15, 2018 / by Minnesota Soybean Categories: Minnesota Soybean Research & Promotion Council, Soybean News

Registration is now open for the seventh annual “Farm Camp Minnesota.” This year, the one-day camp will be held in three different locations and open to kids entering grades 3-6.

Farm Camp allows campers the opportunity to learn about today’s agriculture, where their food comes from, how it is grown and how farm products are used in our daily life. Each camper will have the opportunity to learn about various types of livestock and crop farms, including pork, beef, dairy, turkey, corn, soybeans and vegetables. They will also learn about the equipment used on farms, and at the Dundas and Waseca sites will each get a ride in a tractor.

The camp is put on and sponsored by farmers, farm organizations, agribusinesses and volunteers, including the Minnesota Soybean Research and Promotion Council.

-August 13 and August 14 – Farmamerica, Waseca
