The Zumbro River Watershed will be holding their final Water Restoration and Protection Strategy (WRAPS) process meeting at the end of January.
The meeting will be held Jan. 28 from 9 a.m. – noon at the People’s Energy Cooperative Meeting Room in Oronoco, Minn.
The main agenda item for the meeting will be to review and give feedback on the WRAPS document and Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) drafts. In addition, there will be a talk from the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR) on the Clean Water Legacy Fund along with a presentation from a local farmer who will share his experience working with cover crops and livestock to benefit soil health and water quality.
