Every day, clean energy technology is becoming more advanced and less expensive. Across rural Minnesota, farmers and small businesses are saving money through new, energy efficient systems – and many have started to explore generating clean, renewable energy on-farm.
Farmers, commodity organization representatives, and agribusiness leaders are invited to join the University of Minnesota-Morris and Minnesota Ag/Energy Roundtable on Sept. 8 for a forum and tour opportunity highlighting the opportunities associated with energy efficiency and renewable energy.
The forum will also include a briefing on key energy policy issues impacting rural Minnesota, and a discussion on the relationship between energy and sustainability for farmers and agribusinesses.
Registration is free, with lunch and refreshments included. To view an updated agenda or RSVP, click here.
